Japanese donabe cookware is unique, and can be used for a variety of Asian and Western dishes. They are high fired and usable on the stovetop or oven. Initial seasoning by cooking a rice soup will seal the interior with starch. The bottom is unglazed, and must be completely dry before placing on the burner. Complete instructions are included.
